High Quality MFT Portrait Lens by Sigma at a Bargain Price

Sigma's latest offering for the Micro Four Thirds system is a quiet inexpensive lens with a surprisingly low price tag.  At 120 mm equivalent focal length, Sigma 60mm f/2.8 DN Lens is ideal for street portrait shooting or for a typical short tele-photo needs.  What's intestesting about this lens is that the optics in this unit is identical to the SONY NEX version with its APS-C sensor, giving you a slight disadvantage in side for a slight edge in certain performance categories.

You can get one of this neat lens for under $250 today which is basically less than half of what Olympus 60 mm macro / telephoto lens costs.

There is an excellent comparison review done by a Korean website comparing the two aforementioned lenses from Sigma and Olympus.  Most of the reviews are done in photo comparisons so don't worry if you cannot read Korean.

Sigma Art 60mm f2.8 DN vs Olympus 60mm f2.8 Macro

Basically, the overall performance of Sigma Art 60mm is outstanding especially when you consider the price of it, putting it as one of the lowest priced MFT lens in fact.  Another bonus; the lens comes in both black and silver!
