Olympus Stylus1 Compact Fixed Lens Camera Takes OM-D Design Cue
The next camera to be branded with the Stylus name by Olympus has just leaked out of Japan and on to the international websites.
Little information leaked with it but we know it will be a compact fixed lens camera with an aesthetic akin to the OM-D. Despite the looks, it's unlikely to have such a large sensor as it's a fixed lens device. In fact, it is rumored to feature a 1:1,7 inch sensor and a 24-300mm zoom lens.
The camera itself is more like the Stylus XZ-2 but with a built-in viewfinder. It also appears to retain the lens ring controls.
The price is set at around $700 and the official announcement is expected on October 29th.
