Olympus Working on Pro Grade Supertelephot Lens, 300mm f4
Is Olympus becoming a dominating force in Micro Four Thirds market? I think they are at the rate they are flushing out new cameras and lens and introduction of yet another pro-grade lens, M.Zuiko Digital ED 300mm F4. MFT equipment has long been targeted at prosumer market and professionals looking for casual travel gear.
That may not be the case anymore with introduction of so many amazing lenses built on native MFT format such as Panasonic Leica DG Nocticron 42.5mm f/1.2 and Olympus 12-40mm f/2.8 zoom. We can easily count more than dozen high grade lenses that are suitable for professional work when paired with the latest flagship cameras from both Olympus and Panasonic.

We don't have any specifics on this lens yet except for the fact that it will provide 600mm equivalent focal length of 35mm world. My guess is that this lens will cost over $1,500 but we will have to wait until later this year or beginning of 2015 to find that out.
Stay tuned for more existing announcements!
