Panasonic Lumix DMC ZS25 is the Best All-around Point and Shoot

These days smartphone cameras gets better by the days, but you will instantly be able to tell the difference in image quality when compared to one the best compact digital cameras such as Panasonic DMC ZS25.

This particular model has recently been discontinued  due to updated models released by Panasonic.  The great news is that you can now get one at a discounted price.  If you wait long enough, the price may actually go up as the supplies dry up.

One interesting fact about Panasonic DMC ZS25 is that the successor to this model is either less well received (ZS35) or priced way higher (ZS40).

In a nutshell, the ZS25 is well rounded camera that excels in most of important functions of camera for its price range.

For instance see some of its specification:

  • 1/2.33-inch sensor, f3.3 - 5.9 / 2-step aperture
  • 20x optical zoom, 4x digital zoom
  • Leica DC Vario-Elmar9 Elements Lens in 7 groups (3 aspherical lenses, 6 aspherical surface
  • 3.0" TFT LCD Display
  • 10 Frames per Second Burst Shooting
  • Full HD 1080/60p with Dedicated Button
  • POWER Optical Image Stabilization
  • 2sec and 10sec self-timer

It's a quiet amazing spec for what you pay.  I have compared other cameras from all major manufactures and no one packaged complete all-around feature set.  Some cameras do perform better in certain functions then totally fall behind in another important area.

Looking at the list of sellers and available quantities, the Panasonic DMC ZS25 won't be available in the market for sale for too long.

Check out the review and price at Amazon if you are in the market for compact travel camera.  It's current priced at $245 + Free Shipping.
