Panasonic GF7 Unveiled with Full Details

It seems "Selfie" feature is a must have feature for any new compact digital camera.  Panasonic released details of it upcoming LUMIX GF7 model, featuring a 16-megapixel censor with a 3-inch screen that can be flipped out 180 degrees for selfie mode.

The GF7 did take its selfie mode a step higher with some high-tech AI. Face Shutter function allow you to capture image when you wave your hand. Additionally, Buddy Shutter function automatically captures a shot when you stand next to Pauly Shore and a pal squeeze together in front of the camera.

The GF7 is positioned as an entry level interchangeable lens camera based on Micro Four Thirds format, and will be competing directly with Samsung NX Mini, Sony a5100 and Olympus PEN E-PL7.

It can records 1080p/60fps video in MP4 or AVCHD Progressive format, as well as 1080p/24fps video in AVCHD. You can also use the touchscreen to transition between focus points while you’re recording video.
