Olympus Unveils World's Brightest Fisheye Lens
Finally, the wait is over for those of you who loves photos taken with fisheye lens. The only lens option for Micro Four Thirds users were mid grade manual focus lens made by other manufacturers such as Samyang 7.5mm f/3.5

Now, enter the world of Olympus PRO Lens series. The M.Zuiko Digital ED 8mm f1.8 PRO will probably be ranked way up there with the world's best fisheye lenses, including full-frame line-up.
I believe all of the lens produced by Olympus under the "PRO" label is the best MFT gear your money can buy.
I purchased Olympus M Zuiko Digital ED 12-40mm f/2.8 Pro
Alongside the new fisheye lens, Olympus also announced professional grade ultra-wide zoom lens, M.Zuiko Digital ED 7-14mm f2.8 PRO, another much needed addition to MFT lens line-up.
The only thing that comes anywhere close to this new ultra-wide zoom is Panasonic 7-14mm f/4.0. It's a great lens but it's strictly for outdoor and well-lighted indoor use in my opinion.
Hopefully, we will start seeing some in-depth reviews and testing data soon.
The 8mm f/1.8 (pictured below) is a fisheye lens that has a 180-degree diagonal angle of view, weatherproof construction just as all other Olympus PRO series, and compatibility with Olympus’ underwater camera housing.
The 7-14mm f/2.8 is an ultra-wide-angle zoom with a 35mm equivalent focal range of 14-28mm. It has weatherproof casing as well, allowing you to use it in the rain, in the snow, and on the beach.
The lens is not quite as small as some of Olympus other zoom lens offering, but it is quite amazing considering the level technology built into this lens. In fact, it weighs only about 19 ounces, which Olympus claims is 45% lighter than similarly spec-ed lenses produced by competitors.
